Terms of Service

By using commi/art ("the Platform"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using commi/art, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our community guidelines.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.

3. Auction Listings

  • Artists may create auction listings for illustration commissions.
  • Each listing must include accurate descriptions and original preview artwork.
  • Auctions have a maximum duration of 5 days.
  • Artists may close an auction early at any time. If bids have been placed, both parties will be notified.

4. Bidding

  • By placing a bid, you commit to paying the bid amount if you win the auction.
  • You may re-bid after a 5-minute cooldown period.
  • Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed.
  • Shill bidding (bidding on your own auction) is strictly prohibited.

5. Transactions

  • commi/art is a peer-to-peer platform. All payments and deliveries occur directly between the artist and the winning bidder.
  • commi/art does not process payments, hold funds, or guarantee delivery.
  • Both parties are encouraged to communicate clearly and agree on terms before exchanging payment.

6. Content Policy

  • You may not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights, depicts illegal activity, or violates our community guidelines.
  • NSFW content must be properly flagged. Users must opt in to view NSFW listings.
  • commi/art reserves the right to remove content that violates these policies without prior notice.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Impersonate another person or artist.
  • Use the platform for fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to manipulate auctions through fake accounts or coordinated bidding.

8. Account Suspension

commi/art reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Suspended users will be notified with a reason for the action and may contact support to appeal.

9. Limitation of Liability

commi/art is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Disputes between buyers and sellers.
  • Loss of funds due to transactions conducted outside the platform.
  • Content posted by users.
  • Service interruptions or data loss.

10. Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to operate the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties. For details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be announced via the changelog.
